The Screw cut out is a failure mechanism in which femoral head and the DHS/cephalic screw or blade collapse due to the difference in the modulus of elasticity of metallic hip screw and bone material and repetitive fatigue loading. We have developed custom test procedure for static and fatigue testing of DHS Screws.
